Prompt Design
When using an AI generator it’s important to come up with a good prompt. The dream is to one day be able to simply say what you want and have it appear, perfectly realized before you.
That day is not here yet.
In the meantime those of us who work with AI generation have been learning how to design prompts that will generate the images we desire. It’s a whole new skill of it’s own.
Something really neat about good prompts is their ability to create a series of images that are all similar in style and composition. This creates a really nice replacement for the often boring and overly corporate-themed stock photos.
Dating Couples
This series was requested by a client who needed a set of images of couples on dates. I worked with him to determine what he was looking for and generated over 300 images for him to choose from. These are his favorites with minor cleanup to remove the most glaring blemishes.
Magical Forest
This set was generated to produce some concept art for a video game location.
Cosmic Horror
These images were generated with the intention of invoking a sense of smallness and unease with the alien wonders of unexplored reaches of space.
Gothic Spider Woman
After the very fun Across the Spiderverse I wanted to imagine my own spider-person so I played around with some Victorian Gothic inspired designs.
