Graphic Design
This page showcases my talents with classic graphic design. It’s less focused on pure art and intended instead to show my abilities in doing design work. Here I have less work that was done with AI. Where I do have AI content it is only to show off other skills.
Wedding Invite
To start with I’d like to showcase some classic graphic design work with a wedding invite.
Here you can see my work in color matching images, laying them out, choosing fonts, adding text, and making sure that it is readable.

Logo
This is a logo was designed to take advantage of the very symmetrical name of the company it was made for. I created an ambigram, a design that can be read both upright and upside down, from the company name. I then chose a shape that looks like a mountain one way and a diamond the other. The intention is to give a sense of quality and prestige. The logo was also designed to work on both a light or a dark background.

Book Cover
This is a simple piece but here I helped my client to create the layout herself. I provided the image and instructed her on how to design the sticker for the title.
This shows my ability to instruct others on how to accomplish their design goals.

Poster
This is a graphic that was designed for printing. The end product had a weighted spinner on it to ensure that it would always point upward.
Made entirely in Affinity Designer I chose colors, a font, effects, and designed a layout.

Internet Avatar
For this image I was replicating the style of character mugshots from the multiplayer video game Left 4 Dead. I arranged the lighting for the photo, took the photo, and then processed it in GIMP to match the style of the original images

Desk Mat
This piece is a composite of several generated images but but I’d like you to focus on the effects. The purple dome was created entirely from scratch in GIMP to match visuals from a video game.
In my opinion, the final result looks even better than the online screenshot that I found to copy it from.

Frosted Window
A client wanted to use this image but felt that the nudity was too much for their project. I designed the frosted window in GIMP to soften it a bit for them.

7 Segment Display
This was designed for a digital wristwatch worn by a character known as “The Spy” from the video game Team Fortress 2. His signature weapon is a knife, so I wanted the shape of the 1 to be reminiscent of a folding knife while making the other numbers have their own personality and flair.

Eye
This was simply a challenge for myself to see whether I could utilize the tools in GIMP to make a convincing eye. I feel that the end result is more artistic than photo-real but I feel pretty satisfied with what I accomplished.

Neon Sign
I designed this as a small part of a larger art piece. The fractal in the center is not my work but I did the pathing for all of the other lines and added the glow effect. The Pink and the Cyan are each a single continuous line.

Hidden Dragon
This is hand-drawn by me. I scanned a few pieces that I drew on paper and then redrew them digitally before using them to create a mockup design that was later printed for a sewing project.

eCard Meme
This was based on an old meme that was popular on Facebook several years ago. I used a photograph to create the image and copied the color style of the meme images for my version. I would provide an example image but it seems that theĀ original company is sending takedown notices to anyone sharing those images online.

Photobashing
None of the images here are mine. I found them online and merged them together to create a quick design idea.
